On February 12, 2018, Performant Recovery took responsibility as CMS's Commercial Repayment Center (CRC). While the initiation of Performant as the CRC contractor brought with it no policy changes for Medicare conditional payment recovery, it nonetheless introduced a new management team and staff to the conditional payment process. Important then is understanding how best to build a relationship with this new contractor to successfully investigate and resolve Medicare conditional payment matters.

This webinar will provide attendees with background on Performant Recovery, full scope of the CRC's process, as well as a step-by-step guide for successfully working with the CRC to investigate, dispute/appeal, and reimburse Medicare conditional payments. A 120-day report card on the new CRC will be detailed and expectations for the future of conditional payment recovery by the CRC will be discussed.
